# Folded Products

Design flat, keep content clear of the folds.

- Design the sheet **flat, at its unfolded size**, with the outside as page 1 and the inside as page 2.
- Keep text and logos at least **5mm clear of each fold**. Solid colour across a fold is fine; on heavier stocks we score the fold so it does not crack.
- **Roll Folds**: the panel that tucks inside must be about 2mm narrower than the others or it buckles. Ask us for the panel widths if you are unsure.
- Think about the reading order once folded - the front panel of a Z-fold is not the left-most panel of the flat sheet.
